This is the view from my backyard. It’s quite beautiful. And peaceful. I’ve been sitting here each evening for the past few weeks, quietly listening to the wind and watching airplanes fly far above my head.
This solitude is necessary. My summer experiences thus far have been interesting, and stressful. I’m sure I’ll write more about that later. But to sit and enjoy the quiet has been refreshing.
Most times I pray. I tell God how grateful I am for his love. And I wait for directions on my next steps, pushing my worry and fears aside.
To say that I’m overwhelmed is an understatement. But my overwhelm is nothing compared to God’s power.
So, I’ll continue to spend time here sitting, waiting, praying and being grateful.
