Conyers Book Festival

April 22nd was an amazing day! Over 55 local authors and hundreds of book lovers convened in Olde Town Conyers to celebrate literature. Sponsored by The Book Cellar, The Read Law Firm, and Olde Town Merchants Association, LTD., kids played in a bounce house, got their faces painted and met some talented children’s book authors.

There was fun for the adults as well. Food trucks from local restaurants, rows and rows of shop sellers specializing in hand-made soaps, tumblers, gifts, candles, t shirts; and of course books. Lots and lots of books.

The Book Cellar hosted author talks, panel discussions and children’s book readings. The book store stayed open for extended hours to accommodate festival patrons.

It was a joyous time. I met so many potential readers and had the opportunity to share my books. Being in a space with like-minded people is encouraging to a writer like me. I received so much inspiration for my writing and my business. Life-long connections were made. Next year will be incredible!
