South Carolina is my home. So, when I found out Sumter would host a local author’s tea I jumped at the chance to participate (any excuse to visit my hometown). The event was held in downtown Sumter at The Sidewalk Cafe on Main Street. It was my first time at this particular restaurant and I was pleasantly pleased with the venue.
The space is beautiful. The downstairs restaurant is airy and comfortable with simple, welcoming decor. The upstairs is spacious with rows and rows of inviting couches, tables, a fire place and other decor that makes you want to sit and stay for hours.
I was happy to see old friend and meet new ones at the Author’s Tea. thanks so much to everyone, big and small, who came to find out more about my books. I’ll see you all at the next event!
