Maybe 7 or 8 years ago, I decided to start a podcast. I had no idea how to start, what to do, or where to go. Blog Talk Radio had provided me with the means to start a show a few years prior. But that only lasted 2-3 episodes.
I contemplated this idea for years. What would my podcast be about? Who would be my guests? How often would I put out an episode. I began listening to podcasts and formed a few ideas based on what I heard.
Then, Amazon announced an upcoming Prime Day. Of course, I began researching podcast equipment. I found a deal that was within my price range and purchased a bundle. It sat in the corner of my room for at least two years. Then, during the Christmas holidays of 2024, I decided I’d get moving on my podcast. I’m happy to say that I dove in head-first writing scripts and recording content. Now, I’m six episodes in and couldn’t be happier.
There are still things on the tech side that I’m learning. But I am immensely proud of the content I’ve produced. Each episode is quality work. The discussions are thought provoking and timely. I’m so very excited for Wednesdays. I’ve deemed that day “Podcast Day” because I release a new episode each Wednesday.
